Sorry, this is Lyle. He's a human, honest.

appearance: Not even going to bother trying to describe him, so here's a helpful reference image including all of his sprites and extra illustrations. Lyle is almost always wearing that black curtain which is indeed a curtain. You make do in the apocalypse.

voice: masculine. High-ish. Prone to breaking. Stutters when nervous.

scent: photo developer. Very mild bleach/vinegar scent. A scent truly its own.

demeanor: constantly making clicking/whirring/shuttering sounds, at all times. (sample here) Tittering, withdrawn, shy; carries himself like a recluse, and wears a smile/grimace as a default expression since having transformed. Almost always wearing a sheet over his massive body. He's quite large, at least 9 feet tall standing.

miscellaneous:

  • For characters who have soul sight, Lyle has a host of human souls being carried on his abdomen, beneath his cloak. If his cloak is removed, there are polaroids strung up on it; most of these polaroids also hold a human soul. Wow!

bio: Lyle is a photographer who, upon seeing a beautiful sky one fateful March day, took a photo to capture it. ...Unfortunately, he became among the first (besides the astronomers) to behold The Visitor, an entity traveling the universe unaware of itself and the world around it. Other forces provoked The Visitor to regard earth and humanity too closely, resulting in anyone under the sky to... change. The extent of these changes ranges, and all things considered, Lyle did not change overmuch. He did take upon the traits of a camera, and became one with it for having used it under The Visitor's watch.

    Bite with an enormous crushing mouth! Grows stronger by level.
  • Development Fluid
    Spew highly acidic development fluid. May cause acid burns. Grows stronger by level.
  • Blinding Flash
    Emit a blinding flash! May blind all enemies.
  • Lyle Kicks
    Kick with many sharp legs! Hits four times on random enemies, and may make them bleed.
  • Film Bind
    Target is bound with film - unable to move and more vulnerable to fire.
  • Soul Taker
    Steal someone's soul with a photograph. May instantly kill some enemies, and slowly drain the life of others.
